St James’s Gardens has a large communal lounge, with kitchen facilities, where residents meet on a regular basis to enjoy a wide range of activities including coffee mornings, quiz evenings and film afternoons.
In addition to the above events, the Trustees and Visitors host two parties each year for the residents, one at Christmas and the second in the summer months.
Regular outings are also arranged for those residents able to participate and recent trips have included a riverboat cruise, a drive around Richmond Park and a visit to the Royal Albert Hall.
Quarterly residents’ meetings are held at the scheme which provide an opportunity for residents’ to raise any concerns they may have and to receive information about forthcoming events.
This is a scheme of 48 one bedroom flats in a beautiful Victorian square in Holland Park. It also houses our head office and administrative centre.
St James’s Gardens is situated on two sites, just across the road from each other; 42-46, has 32 one bed-room flats and 47-50 has 16 one bed-room flats.
Residents at St James’s Gardens benefit from having a Visitor if they wish, a unique service providing support and friendship to the residents.
